Kathleen Irene Akin (Madhuri) Papers
The Kathleen Irene Akin (Madhuri) Papers are the personal journals, correspondences, writings, and photographs of a longtime member of a communal society, containing records from before, during, and after her memberships. Of particular note are a detailed account of the death of the leader of the society, a diary entry written on 9/11/01 recording the events as they unfolded, and detailed notes on the beliefs of the society.
Koreshan Unity Collection
This collection contains many of the personal papers of various members of the Koreshan Unity, as well as several bound notebooks serving as scriptural indices. Also of note are Teed's book "Celluar Cosmogony," a newspaper clipping describing its hollow-Earth theory, and a letter of refutation to a critic of the theory.
