Diary of Rush Cady, Hamilton College Class of 1862, covering the period from July 20, 1860, to September 9, 1860. Large volume, 8.5" x 10.75", with marbled endpapers, 560 pages, written on pages 1-28. First entry dated August 1, 1860, but describes events starting July 20, when Rush Cady came home from Hamilton College for the summer vacation. The last entry was on Sunday, Sept. 9, 1860; the next term at Hamilton College started on the second Wednesday in September, Sept. 12, so Rush would have had go back at college by then.
