Astronomical instruments from C.H.F. Peters
Astronomy equipment from Professor Peter Millet's collection from the old observatory, including two sextants in cases; 2" spotting scope with extreme precision angle adjustments (maybe theodolite for surveying?), given to the Hamilton College Observatory by Horace Kellogg in 1858; 4-inch Newtonian reflecting telescope; achromatic telescope (probably terrestrial, maybe nautical?) in case with mount.
Originally belonged to Professor C.H.F. Peters for use in the Litchfield Observatory.
