Utica law diary, April 9, 1834 - May 10, 1834, including notes on the weather each day. 7 leaves, legal size, written on both sides, attached with red seals at the top. Could be by a clerk in a law office with Mr. Rudd and E. Smith. Entry for April 10, for example, includes "Weather cloudy, East wind, cool & rainy.... Mr. Rudd continued copying judgment Record, Bennett vs. Camp & Bull, which he commenced yesterday but did not finish it last night ... E.S. entered 9 Manuscripts of Judgments & chgd some of same.... Doctors Sale of Bloods Finlen made today. E.S. made 3 Criminal Subpoenas, for Crary atty."
