Laboratory notebook of Earl Orlo Butcher (1903-1996) from his graduate work at Cornell, primarily about muscle. Butcher taught biology at Hamilton College from 1928 to 1943. "Noted as a researcher in human anatomy as well as a teacher, Earl Butcher did pioneer work on skin transplantation and was an early practitioner of tooth transplants and implants.... author of more than 160 articles ... recipient of numerous awards both for his teaching and his scientific contributions" (Hamilton Alumni Review vol. 61, no. 3, p. 24). 9"x21" book, with enclosures.
