Framed copy of honorary degree citation presented posthumously to Alexander Hamilton on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Bicentennial Meeting of the Alumni Association. President Joan Stewart presented the degree of Doctor of Laws "to include [Hamilton] among the ranks of educated men and women of the College that bears his name," to Trustee Susan Skerritt K '77, who accepted it on behalf of Secretary Hamilton. Chris McKay, corporate historian and museum curator at the Bank of New York Mellon and the mother of Andrew '01 and John '04, conveyed the diploma to the Bank's museum.
