The records of Backus Club, the successor to Faculty Club. The proceeds from the sale of furnishings, when the building that had been the Faculty Club was demolished to make room for Bundy, became the endowment for Backus Club, which offered dinners for faculty at discounted prices for many years. Currently (2012), Backus Club helps the Dean of Faculty in subsidizing costs of dinners and receptions for faculty.
