Content Description

Kirkland Project for Diversity and Social Justice records, a program that brought many guest speakers and events to Hamilton, focused primarily on women's rights and education, but including broader social justice topics (race, incarceration, etc.). Most material dates between 1996 and 2006. Hamilton figures mentioned significantly or repeatedly include Nancy Rabinowitz, Maurice Isserman, Vivyan Adair, Eugene Tobin, Joan Hinde Stewart, Robin Vanderwall. Material includes programs from events, letters/memos, minutes and agendas for meetings, research, grant proposals, annual reports, etc. Most material is on visiting speakers and similar events. Also included are scrapbooks (see 2011.03.13b) and posters (2011.03.09).
