Diaries include Fidelia Cady Album from 1837-1839; Rush Cady Daily Diary (Diary Number 2) from April 22, 1858; Diary and account book, Feb. 5, 1862 (w/ note “1862, Some writings about pre-service – and life after returning to Hamilton before his actual entrance in an army company, list of goods he bought (or his father did and he owed him money) and perhaps sold to soldiers); Rush Cady Diary from beginning of service in Civil War (begins with “Brief Synopsis of my Personal Experience, since Enlisting, Oct. 2, ‘61”; continues with diary entries from Dec. 13, 1862 to June 13, 1863)
