Graduation dress, handmade by sister of Margaret Doris K '77. "All around the hem she appliqued the elements of the Kirkland seal: the leaf, the flower and the apple.... (Graduation that year fell on the anniversary of my mother's graduation from medical school -- she was a member of the Hamilton/Kirkland medical advisory board. My mother was a big believe in tradition, and wanted me to have some sort of official graduation dress)."
