Yale College BA diploma (in Latin) granted to Samuel W. Fisher, dated 19 August, 1835 [?], signed by Jeremiah Day, president; complete with ribbon (blue) and seal; New York Theological Seminary diploma granted to Samuel Ware Fisher after three years study, dated July 10, 1839, signed by President Auley and professors White, Mason, Spencer, Cox, and Adams; metal diploma tube. Diplomas found in house in Washington, PA, bought in 1920s by Robert Litle (c.1895-1976), uncle of donor; donor's wife's brothers are Richard Peskin '67 and James Peskin '74 (married to Barbara Beise Peskin K '74); Richard's son Sam is in the class of 2006.
