Correspondence, diaries, fragment of an autobiography (1764-65), and census of Six Nations (1789). Some of the letters are in the Oneida and Mohawk languages. Correspondents include James Bowdoin, Joseph Brant, Israel Chapin, Henry Knox, Andrew Oliver, Timothy Pickering, Philip Schuyler, ... Peter Thatcher, the Rev. Stephen West, Eleazer Wheelock, Edward Wigglesworth, and Joseph Willard. Also S. Kirkland Correspondence: Miscellaneous, Fragmentary, and Undated; Lothrop-Pickering Papers (Papers of S. Kirkland deposited in the Library by Thornton K. Lothrop); Sermons and other documents; Letters in the Iroquois language (dated and undated)
