Collection of material related to Arthur Levitt (Honorary Degree 1979) including transcripts and audio tapes of speeches, newspaper clippings, photographs, oral history project interviews about Levitt, NYS budget reports, Levitt's book: Watchdog for the People: A History of the Comptrollership of New York State; various awards. Added 11/30/06: 0000.47.4, framed portrait (pen and ink?; undated but reproduced in materials from 1989), formerly hanging on the wall of the Levitt Center (replaced by sign which incorporates portrait). The oral history project includes transcripts of interviews of Edward V. Regan, William B. Volet, Covington Hardee, Maury Spanier, Louis Lefkowitz, John Jay Feeney, and Marion Murphy.
