Biography
Othniel Williams (1787-1832) was born in Connecticut, spent most of his childhood in Whitestown, NY, went to Yale, class of 1810; married Mary Eliot in 1813 and lived in Killington, CT, with her parents before moving to Waterville, NY, in 1814. He practiced law in Waterville and in Clinton when he moved there in 1820. He was a Trustee of Hamilton College 1827-1832 and Treasurer of the College 1828-1832.
