David H. Beetle, class of 1930, was a journalist who worked for Hamilton College for many years. He became the Director of the Bureau of Public Relations at Hamilton College in 1939, and was editor of the Alumni Review until 1955, after which he continued his journalistic career mostly in Albany, working for Gannett Newspapers and the Albany Knickerbocker News and writing several books. He died in 1972.
